Princess Street Oxford Road Cow keeper
and Milkman taken before me this
12th. day of July 1762

Who being upon Oath says that he Knows one Sarah Metyard< no role > This name instance is in set 37100.
late of Braton Street Widow and Sarah Morgan Metyard< no role >
her Daughter, says that he has served them with Milk between
four and five Years past, says that between three and four
Years agos, one Morning when he called at the door of the said
Metyard's to serve them with Milk as usual a Girl whom he
took to be the said Mrs. Metyard's Apprentice come running
out of the door Crying, at which time the said Metyard and her
Daughter called out to this Informant to stop her, say she
did accordingly Stop her, that at this Time the Child Prayed
of this Informants to let her goe saying that if she was taken
into the House again she shou'd be starved to Death
declaring at the same time that She had then been
kept without Victuals for a considerable time, but the
exact time this Informt. does not reccolect, says that
the Daughter of the said Metyard recd the Child from this
Informt. took her by the Neck and dragged her into the House
that at this Time the said Child was like an Otomy and
appeared as if she had Actually been Starved, says that
on this Account he this Informt. Enquire the Character of
said Metyard in the Neighbourhood and finding it to be
very bad past to the Usage of her apprentices he applied to one of the Overseers of the Poor
of St. Georges Parish who was then and is now a Linnen
Draper in Bond Street and told him what had
