And took with him the sd. Hatt & the sd Coat and the Fiathe left
he left at a Hatters in High Holborn to be dressed and the
Coal was Sold in Monmouth street and from thence-
they went to West. and dinned with Payne & Day who
this Ins left and came home with Placket who put
on the said Black Velset Breeches and sd Buttons into
his Sleeves and they both went to Sadlers Wells
And further Saith that the sd Placket went out on
Saturday Morning with Butter which he was used
to sell and this Inst. went down to a Green stale where
she saw a News Paper giving an account of the Robbery
of the Danish Gent and discribing the Parlors of
the things he was robbed off & which the Inst. [..]
knew to be the thing brought home on the Thursday
Morning as afsd. And when this Ins returnd home she found
the sd. Placket upon the Bed And this Inst. told sd.
Placket that there had been a sad Robbery committed
And that she wasaffaridaffraidofftenhe was the Person who
had committed the Robbery for that the things he had
brought home were the Man's things to which he
answered No my Dear no body can do me any hard
for I have done the wrong to any body and got off the
Bed directly and took the sd Velvet Breeches the
Shirt Watch & Buttons & went out directly & staid
out about three Quarters of an Hour & then returnd
and was apprehended by the Constables
