To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace at Hicks Hall Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. anne within
the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals of
John Lane< no role > and P. Mombray Esqr. two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 8th: day of this present Month of January. Richard < no role > a
Male Bastard Child aged near four Months Born of the Body of Hannah
Gurney
< no role > This name instance is in set 459. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . Singlewoman was removed and Conveyed from the Parish
of St: Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St. Anne
within the Liberty of Westminster in the same County as the
Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Richard Whereby
your Petitioners conceive themselves to be Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal
to this Court against the said Order of the said
two Justices of the peace And Pray that your
Worships will be pleased to Appoint a day in
this present Session for the hearing and
determining of the said Appeal

And your Petrs: shall ever Pray Etc
