To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of
the Peace at Hicks Hall Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Anne within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals
of Thos. Quarrill< no role > and Thos: Smith< no role > Esqrs: two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County aforesaid bearing Date the
fifteenth day of December last. William Arnold< no role > with his Wife named
Elizabeth < no role > and their four Children vizt: William< no role > aged Nine Years last
may Henry < no role > aged about Six Years, Hannah < no role > aged about three Years
and John < no role > aged about ten months, were removed and conveyed from the
Parish of St: Mary Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex to the said
Parish of St. Anne (by the Name of the Parish of St. Ann Soho in the County
aforesaid) as the last legal place of Settlement of the said William,
Arnold and his said Wife and Children Whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal
to this Court against the said Order of the said two,
Justices of the peace and pray that your Worships
will be pleased to Appoint a day in this present
Session for the hearing and determining of the
said Appeal
