Hydes
< no role > taken before me one of his Majesty.
Justice of the Peace for the said County.

Who being Severally on Oath Say & first this Inf
Patrick Caffry< no role > for himself saith that on the 28 day
of July last about Ten O Clock at Night this Inf
went with a Person now Present who calls herself
Eliz Woods< no role > to a house in New tower Lane and went
to bed with her & this Inf further saith that When he
went to bed he had a Silver Watch in his Pocket
and this Inf locked the Door & hid the key and
when this Inf valued which was before it was [..]
leshe he found sd door open & the sd. Eliz gone & thereupon this Inf
called for a light Which being Brought he found his
breeches at the foot of the bed on the floor & his
Watch gone and this Inf never saw or heard of the sd. Woman
or watch till he was Inf of her & it by the other& thisInf Willm

< no role > And this Inf Wm Hydes< no role > for himself saith that
on the Sixth of then instant out Sej Maj [..] Jackson
Ordered this Inf to bring one Corporal Pope to
Mr Welch. to be Examined touching his Stealing Watch
which this Inf did and the sd. Eliz Woods< no role > then Charged
on her Oath the sd. Pope with his having Felony
took & Carryed away a Silver Watch Whereupon the
Sd. Pope was Committed to Prison for the said Offence
And this Inf the next day went to Cark [..] produced to
the Sd. Pope & [..] soon after one Heritage came
