Sheriff to return able
Grand Jury men}


Upon reading and duty considering the several Orders and resolutions
of the Sessions touching Grand Juries and the Reports therein mentioned
It is Requested of the Sheriff that his Precept be from Time to Time
Confined to one Bailiff only And that the Number of Jurymen to be
Summoned be Confined to Forty eight And it is Ordered that a Panel or
list of the Names of the Forty eight Persons to be Summoned shall from
Time to Time be returned to the Sessions Upon Oath of the Bailiff to
be taken before such Jury be called over that such List Contains
all the Persons by him or any other on his behalf summoned or
called on upon that Occasion and to the best of his Knowledge they
are all fit and able Persons for that Service and Indifferently
Summoned without favour reward or ill will and to the Intent
that this Regulation may have the desired good Effect let a Copy
hereof be delivered to Mr. John Benson< no role > in Order to give
proper Notice and directions to the several Bailiffs concerned
