The Information of Mary Barnet< no role > and Richard Bayton< no role >
taken before me one of his Majesty's Justice of the Peace
for the said County

Who being severally on Oath say & first this Jus. Mary Barnet< no role > for
her set saith That about Twelve O' Clock last Right as this Jus returned
from Kenvington in her way to grays Jus Lane she was assaulted
in Bloomsbury square faring the new Building by a Person
new present who calls himself James Martyz< no role > who seized
hold of this Jus arm & kicked up her heels & threw her down
on the ground and forciobly had Carnal Knowledge of this Jus
Body Contrary to his will & Consent and this Jus sith than upon
her restlant the sd. Martyz Jus his first to her Month &
saith that during the time he had Carnal know hed see her
Body he bit both her Arms and upon this Jus Crylins out
Murder a Chairman & two or three gent came upon to her assistance
last not till after the sd. Martyz had obtained his will of her
and the Jus Richd Boyton for himself saith that as he was
coming about the above time [..] into Bloomsburry by the Rails he &
heard a Cry of Murder upon which he crosed over and some
other person's unknown to him and found the above Jus on the
ground & the said Martyz standing by her & this Jus want down
with the sd. Martyz to the Watch house & left him in Chalte
with the Constable

This Jus upon Oath saith [..] above Twelve O Clock last Night as this
Jus was coming out of the Orange Tree the Cornor of Kings Street
Southampton Row he heard a Copy of Murder in Bloombury
