Taken before me this 8th. day of
January 1760
Who being upon Oath says that on Saturday last about 6 o' Clock
in the Evening Two Persons now present who call themselves
Mitchell Hall< no role >
and Ann Sheel< no role >
came into the Shop of Mrs.
Cole [..] Situate in the Strand
aforesaid in which this Informant
then was, and bought a Cap, says that when the aforesaid two
Persons came into the Shop there then lay upon the Compter
about six Yards and three Quarters of fine Muslin the property
of this Informt.; and this Informt. farther says that when the
said Hall and said Streel went out of the shop, she instantly miss
the said Piece of Muslin, and that she is very positive that no
other Person came into the Shop from the Time of their coming
in and going out of it as aforesaid, therefore this Informt. verily
believes that the sd. Hall and said Sheel did feloniously
