We whose names are Subscribed two of the overseers of the
poor of the parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the County of
Middlesex Do hereby Consent that the Recognizance
Entred into by Walter Butler and his Sureties before
Saunders Welch< no role > Esqr. one of His Majesty's Justices of
the peace for the said County for the personal Appearance
the said Walker Butter at the last General Sessions of the
peace hold for the said County to Answer our Complaint
for begetting Mr Margaret Holt< no role > Singlewoman with
Child wherewith she was then pregnant and likely to
be Born a Bastard and become Chargeable to the said
parish, may be Discharged, the said Margaret
Holt
< no role > having been Delivered of the said Child which is
since Dead and the said Walter Butler< no role > having
made Satisfaction to us for the Charges which the
Said parish [..] has been put unto on Account of the
said Child Dated the 8th. day of December 1758
