To Mr. John Madders< no role > High or Chief
Constable for the City & Liberty of Westmr

Whereas Mary Connelly< no role > Susan Macklain< no role > & Mary Crofts< no role >
Rogues and Vagabonds were found wandering and begging in
the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the said Liberty
not having a legal Settlement there, And whereas the
said Mary Connelly< no role > Susan Macklain< no role > & Mary Crofts< no role > were
brought before me one his Majestys Justices of the peace for
the City & Liberty aforesaid (by John Lewis< no role > ) in order to be
dealt with according to Law.

These are therefore to require you the
said High Constable to pay unto the Said John Lewis< no role >
for apprehending the said Vagrants the Sum of Thirty
Shillings (being Ten Shillings for each Vagrant)
pursuant to the Statute in that case made & provided
Given under my Hand & Seal this 12th: day of
November 1757.
