To the Worshipfull His Majestys Justices
of the peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General session of the peace at
Hicks Hall Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of Paddington in the sd. County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or pass warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Francis Jackman< no role > and William
Pickering
< no role > Esqrs. two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the City and Liberty of Westminster in the said County
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the 14th. day
of February 1758 Charles Pruce< no role > Eleanor < no role > his wife and their
Child Stephen < no role > aged about Six Years were removed and
Conveyed from the Parish of Saint James Westminster
to the said Parish of Paddington as the place of their
last Legall Settlement

Your Petitioners
therefore think themselves Aggrieved
by the said Order or pass Warrant
of the said two Justices of the peace
Appeal to this Court against the
same and humby pray that your
Worships will be pleased to appoint
a day for the hearing and Determining
the said Appeal

And Your Petrs. shall ever pray Etc.
