To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of Peace for the County of Middx
in their GeneralSession of the Peace Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Matthew Bethnal Green in the
County of Middlesex aforesaid.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an order or Pass Warrant under
the hands and Seals of two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
Date the 30th. day of November last a Person in the said
Order or Pass Warrantdescribed as follows Vizt. Sarah Cooke< no role >
otherwise English< no role > otherwise Lovell< no role > Spinister aged about Eighteen
Years a Bastard born of the Body of Mary English< no role > now the
Wife of William Lee< no role > was removed from the Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch in the said County to the said Parish of
St. Matthew Bethnal Green as the Place of her last legal
Settlement.

That Your Petitioners apprehendthemselves
Aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant.

And Your Petitioners therefore humbly Pray
that Your worships will be pleased to appoint some Day
this Present session for the hearing & determining thereof and
that Your Petitioners may be relieved in the Premisses as to
Your Worships shall seem Just.

And Your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
