To Mr. Daniel Carne< no role > , High or Chief Constable
for the City and Liberty of Westminster .

Whereas Edward Jones< no role > - a Rogue and Vagabond
was found wandering a Broad and begging in the Parish
of Saint George Hanover Square in the said Liberty not
having a legal Settlement there And Whereas the
said Edward Jones< no role > , was brought before me
one of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the City
and Liberty aforesaid, by Richard Godwin< no role > , in order to-
be deals with according to Law and was by me and
other Justices for the said City and Liberty Committed
to Bridewell untill the next General Quarter Sessions

These are therefore to require
you [..] said High Constable to pay unto the said
Richard Godwin< no role > , for apprehending the said
Vagrant the Sum of Ten Shillings pursuant to
the directions, of the Statute in that Case made and
provided Given under my Hand and Seal this
20th. day of June 1755.
