maketh Oath
that he this Deponent hath frequently and at divers and Sundry times
for eight Months last past and upwards made strict and diligent
Inquiry after the said Prudence Holden< no role >
in order that this
Deponent might bring her to take her Trial in this honoble
Court upon as Indictment agt. her for a Misdemeanor in
discharge of this Deponents Recognizance for the Appearance
of the said Prudence Holden< no role >
And this Deponent further saith
that upon the most strict Inquiry and diligent Search which
this Deponent hath made after the said Prudence Holden he
this Deponent [..] could never [..] hear the least
Account of her or whether she was living or Dead And
this Depont. further saith that he verily believes that the said
Prudence is not nor has been for the Space of eight Months
and upwards in the Citys of London or Westminster
or in
any place adjacent for that he verily believes if she had
he should have by his Inquirys have found her out
