before Robt. Wright< no role > Esqr at the
White Bear the Corner of Old Street
Square in the County of Middx on
Veiw of the body of Soloman Burton< no role >

This Informt. saith That on the 9th. Instant at night
deced was drinking by himself in the House of Informts.
Husband & afterwards was in Company in the same Room
with two persons who went by the name of Ducker
& one Joseph Mursey< no role > says they were all very sociable
-says that Murseychargedgave a Guinea to charg wod. pay but
two shillings for the punch which deced resented & said
he ought to pay half a Crown as a quartern of more
rum had been put into it & beleivesMurseyMursey
struck the deced on the face as there were high word,
between them & Informt. saw deceds face bloody
whereupon the deced stript to fight Mursey directly
but Informt. Endeavour'd to hinder the deced who told
her he wod. only strike him one blow for his
Impudence, which informt. beleives he did &
imediatly deced cryed he was stab'd, & when deceds
Husband went to Coll or Mursey she saw sd. Mursey
have a Short Steel Instrumt. in his hand which he
attemptedto(as Informt. beleives) to hill her sd. Husband
with-says she verily beleives that sd. Burton was
Lillid by the sd. Mursey
