Case


William Hall< no role > is a Private Cintinel in ye: Guards and
Lodg'd at one Mr. James Hunts< no role > ; & Comeing home to his
Lodging one night a Little in Liquor Caus'd some disturbance
by Endeavouring to get to his Wife yr in the same Room
where he Lodg'd & broke yr Door, upon which the Land Sd.
Mr: Hunt got a Warrant & look him before Justice Fielding
who wou'd have Committed him, had he not got Bail to
ye: Satisfaction of the Land Lord for ye: mending his Door
now, ye: Door is Mended and he has a proper receipt from
his Landlord for it & as he is only a private Continel a
Wife & large family to Maintain hopes yr: Honour will
take off his fee's tho. his Serjt: must now pay them for him (unless
your Honours goodness & humanity will Extend so far as
to Clear him) he will be oblig'd to pay him again which will
Almost ruin him,andas things are Amicably settled between
