WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County ofMiddlesex aforesaid
(one whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Chelsea ThatCatherine Ryder< no role >
Widow Aged Forty Years, and her two Children, vizt.
Charles Ryder< no role > aged Fourteen Years-and Nicholas
Ryder< no role > , aged Twelve Years; The Lawfull Issue
by Emanuel Ryder< no role > her late Husband, deceased,
are
lately intruded, and
come into the saidParish of Chelsea
andare likely tobecome Chargeable to the same; We
the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the saidCatherine Ryder< no role > ;
and her said two Children, to be in the said Parish
of Saint John in Southwark , in the said County
of Surry

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the saidCatherine Ryder< no role > , and her said
two Children,
from and out of your saidParish of Chelsea
to the said Parish of Saint John , in
Southwark , in the said County of Surry
andThandeliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some, or one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and Provide for
Thanaccording to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this10th.-Day ofMay 1751.
