WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the
Church-wardens and Overseers of he Poor of
the said Parish ofEnfield
aforsdunto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace (whereof one is of the Quorum) for theCounty of
Middx,aforesaid, that [..] Elizabeth< no role > the

Wife of Thomas. Tyth otherwise Tide (who is Wary away and together and his Settlement is unknown [..] whose
maiden Name was Elizabeth Clarke< no role > With her Three
Children begotten on her Body by the said Thomas Tyth< no role > otherwise Tide< no role > her John< no role > aged 3 Years [..] Thomas< no role > aged 2 Years
& Michael< no role > aged about 7 Monthshave
lately intrudedthemselvesinto your said Parish ofEnfield
aforsd as
there to inhabit as Parishionerscontrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere [..] become charge
able, [..] : And Whereas, upon due Ex
amination and Enquiry made into the Premises,upon the Oath
of the said Elizabeth and other Circumstances
it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Elizabeth Tyde< no role > and her three Children
are
likewisebecome chargeable unto the said Parish ofEnfield
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidElizabeth and her three
Childrenis in the said Parish of
Thundridge

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require
you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofEnfield aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidElizabeth< no role >
[..] and her three Children
from your said Parish of [..]
to the said Parish ofThundridge
andDeliverthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some
or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a
true Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his
Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case
made, forthwith to receive the saidElizabeth< no role > and her
Three Children
into their saidParishand provide forthem
as their own Parishioner.sGiven under our Hands and Seals the
15thDay ofMayin the Year of our
Lord one Thousand seven hundred andfifty One
