At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid on Monday the Fourteenth day of
January in the twenty fourth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain Etc before George Errington< no role > John Dekewer< no role > William Caslon< no role > Walter Berry< no role > Esquires
and other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Kingston upon Thomas in
the County of Surry have exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court Setting forth
That by an Order under the hands and seals of James Fraser< no role > This name instance is in set 3480. and Edward Ashe< no role > Esquires two of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the fourteenth day of November One
thousand seven hundred and fifty Margaret Goodburn< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the
Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in the said County of Middx to the Said Parish of
Kingston in the County of Surry as the Place of her last legal Settlement whereby the
Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved and do appeal to this Court against the said
Order whereupon at the request of the Petitioners It is Ordered by this Court that the
benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto them And that the hearing and determining
thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the next General Session of the Peace
to be holden for the said County of Middx And that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields (upon Notice of this Order) and all
Persons concerned do attend this Court at the next General Session of the Peace to be holde [..]
for the said County of Middx by adjournmenton Tuesdaythe twenty sixth
day of February next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching the said Appeal
