Sheweth
That on the 9th day of September
1749. One
Elizabeth

late of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn
in the County of
Middx was bound an Apprentice to your Petr. by Indre bearing
date the sd. 9th. day of September aforesd
. for the space of Seven
Years to learn the Art and Mystery of Mantua Making
in which Art and Mystery Your petr. and all his have
Endeavour'd to teach & Instruct her, Yet the said Elizabeth
being quite regardless of their Tuition and her Duty of an
Apprentice as aforesaid, And having for several Years past
contracted a bad habit of Body from the Venereal Disease
Insomuch that three Salivation's since last Christmas have
proved ineffectual. And being from time to time since her
said Apprenticeship found and Discover'd to be a great
Pilferrer and Despoiler of Your Petrs. Goods & Chattells
in his Dwelling house Your Petr. was Obliged to Support
her in the work house at the rate of 2s.6d.P week for
the Space of 3. Months last past; and which he being but
a Pensioner
as aforsd. is not able to do any longer.
Therefore most hbly Prays yor. Worships
would be Pleased to Discharge him from
his said Apprentice Or Make such
Order in the Promisses as to Your
Worships Shall seem meet
And Poor Petr. as in Duty bound
Shall ever Pray.
