Depositions touching the Death of Joseph Farrow< no role > Taken
before John King< no role > Esqr . Coroner for the County of Middx the
first day of Augt . 1750.

Wm: Alsop< no role > Servant to Mr. Hands Founder in White Cross Street Maketh [..]
& Saith that On Monday Even between 7 & 9 the 30th: of July 1750, The [..]
Joseph Farrow< no role > & himself being Shop mates together they went to [..]
Swan Ale house in White Cross Street & went to Skettled & the D [..]
a Wagon of 2d: with Another Man one Wm. Yates< no role > . & that the Deced [..]
& when the Man Asked for his Money the Deced refused to pay [..]
upon that the Man Collard the Deced & sd. then you must go along with me
Says upon that they went to fighting & the Deced Stupt, but the other did
not further Says that the Deced had 3 or 4 falls, & that he this Depont.
Endeavoured to help him up, But he desired him to let him alone, Says
that the Deced was then in Liquor, And that he dyed in about an hour [..]
But before he dyed heard him [..] that he did for me the first blow, first [..]
Says that it was in a Soft place where they fought, & before this happend ye.
Deced was in perfect Health, & used to work very hard at his Business.
