The voluntary Examination of Luc [..] Bat
[..] Long Lane in the Parish of St. Pulchers [..]
County of Middlesex Clock Case Maker taken [..]
me one of his Majtys Justices of the Peace for the
said County

Says upon Oath that he in Company with Richard
Hutton
< no role > Ben the Coal heaver and Thomas Edy< no role > a Glozier
did Rob a Man in Grayes Inn Lane and look from him 7d [..] and
that they the Same Night did rob a gentleman in Hatton
Garden of about fifteen Shillings or Sixteen Shillings
his hat a Steel Chain with a gold and Steel [..]
Seal and that they sold the [..] hat gold and Steel
Seal to one Scampy a Jew in Dukes Place for
Six Shillings and 41d. on the 28th of July lost
Saith that on Tuesday then next following he together
with the Said Richard Hutton< no role > [..] the [..] heaver
Thomas Rowland< no role > and James Dorman< no role > Robbed y
gentleman in Red lyon Street of a Gold laced hat
one Shilling in Money wch. Said hat they sold to
she Said Scampy the Jew for 4s. and a Buckle
in the Said hat for 1s. to the Said Scampy, that the
Said Thomas Rowland< no role > fired a Pish [..] said
gentleman but did not hurt him that they robbed
Man the Same Night in Ivey Lane in the City of
London of 7s.

That the said Examinant did on Wednesday the 7th
Instant in Company wch. Thomas Edy< no role > Richard
Hutton
< no role > Thomas Rowland< no role > and one Edward Jones< no role > f
Rob on the Consey in Clerken well a Man [..]
