Take Notice that I will appear at the next Session of Oyer and Terminer to
be held at Sticks Hall in Saint John Street in and for the County of Middx on
Thursday next at ten of the Clock in the forenoon & then & there try my Traverse
on the Indictment which is found against me for a Misdemeanour

The above is Copy of a Notice deliver'd to me yesterday, & being new a
Prisoner for pretended Debt in Wood street Compter at the Suit of the said Mary Carey,
She having arrested me to prevent my appearing against her, beg
an Order may be granted by the worshipful Justice of the Bench, for my
being brought up tomorrow, in order to prove the Nalidity of my Indictmt.
against the said Defendt. Mary Carey, & to obtain Justice thereof.
In condinending hereto you will greatly sence the Distress'd, and be
a means of freeing from Imprisonment
