To the Worshipfull the Justices of Peace for the
County of Middlesex at the General Quarter Sessions
of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition of John Bayley< no role > of
Isleworth Gardener .

Sheweth

That by an Order bearing date the Eleventh day of
April last under the Hands and Seals of Robert Tothill< no role > and
Francis Hole< no role > Esqrs. two of Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said
County Is was Adjudged and Declared That your Petitioner was the
Reputed Father of a Female Bastard Child Born of the Body of
Ann Evans< no role > Singlewoman -And that your Petitioner should
forthwith Pay or Cause to be Paid unto the Church Wardens or Overseers
of the Poor of the time being of the Parish of Heston in the said County
or to some or one of them the Sum of three Pounds three Shillings-
and Seven Pence for the Maintenance of the said Child for the Space
of Four Weeks and the other Legal and Necessary Expences of the
Officers of the said Parish And also that your Petitioner should likewise
Pay or Cause to be paid to the said Church Wardens or Overseers Weekly
& every Week the Sum of Two Shillings and Six Pence for and
towards the Releif and Maintenance of the said Child for so long
time as the said Child should become Chargeable to the sd. Parish of Heston

That your Petitioner Conceives himself to be Aggreived by the
said Order and humbly Appeals therefrom to your Worships Judgment
and Prays such Releif in the Premisses as to your Worships shall
Seem Meet
