To the worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of
the peace for the County of Middlesex
in A General Quarter Session of
the Peace Assembled

The Humble petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of South Mims
in the County of Middlesex Aforesaid

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the
hands and Seals of William Underwood< no role > andPeace
Pierce Galliard< no role > -Esqrs - two of His Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex (Whereof one is of the
Quorum) Bearing date the fourth day of August 1748
Whereby William Haydon< no role > and Mary< no role > his Wife John< no role >
their Son Aged Seven Years Hannah< no role > their Daughter
Aged five Years Joseph< no role > their Son Aged four Years
Were Removed from the Parish of Enfield in the County
of Middlesex Aforesaid to the Said Parish of South Mims
as their Last Legall Place of Settlement

And Your Petitioners do think themselves
Aggrieved by the said Order or Warrt
of Removal and do Humbly Appeal to
this Court Against the Same

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Pray that this
Court will be Pleas'd to Appoint A day for the hearing
and Determining of the said Appeal

And Your. Petrs shall pray Etc
