On an Indictment for Felony

Hustings Wilkinson of [..] tham in the County of Suffolk Surgeon Maketh
Oath that Henry Ellis< no role > of Benacre in the County of Suffolk Farmer a Person who
is a Material witness for the Defendant at the Tryal of this Indictment as this
Deponent is informed & believes by reason of his having lately dislocated his
Shoulder which for sometime past hath confined him to his bed is disabled to
Attend at the next Sessions in the Old Bailey in Order to give his Evidence for the
Deft in this Cause & this Deponent further saith that he the said Henry Ellis< no role >
has for the space of Twenty twodays last past been attended by &
under the Care of this Dept and this Deponent has during that time administrator
& applyed several Remedys & Medicines for the recovery of the said Henry
Ellis
< no role > from his said indisposition And this Dept further saith that the said
Henry Ellis< no role > is not able to Travel to London to give his Testimony on [..]
of the said Defendant without the manifest hazard & danger of losing [..]
Life But this Deponent saith that he has great hopes that the said Henry
Ellis
< no role > will be able to attend at the next General Quarter Sessions at the Old
Bailey after Midsummer next.
