The Information of Elizth. Chandler< no role > of the parish of Saint Mary Le Bone
in the County of Middlesex Taken before me Robert Wright< no role > Esqr . the 24
day of January 1747

This Informant upon her Oath Saith that the name of deceasd is James Pool< no role > And
that on Fryday night, Last being the 22d. Instant the deceasd was in Company
with Henry Cowley< no role > at Somerfield Wright< no role > s in Russell Street drinking a Petter
Beer Together in aforesaid by manner about Ten o Clock at night and Talking
about the Sea together when Pool Said To Cowley you are a Shitten Arse Boy
and know nothing of the matter then Words a rose and Pool pulld out Two half
Crown and Said he wod. fight Cowley for Twenty Shillings where upon Cowley puled
of his ring to find the Wager and both the Stakes were Laid in Wright hand. Then
they both fell to fighting and after they had done fighting Pool went, out and Stain
about half an hour and then returned all over Mud into the Entry Particularly end Side of
his foe And Cowley was one of the persons that helped to bring deled in but the he
was blerded be soon expired
