To the Right Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their Generall Quarter Sessions Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Harlington in the County of
Bedford.

Sheweth


That by Vertue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of Merry
Teshmaker
< no role > and William underwood< no role > Esquires two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said
County of Middlesex (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the first of this Instant April one
Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Seven one Joseph Tapster< no role > and Frances< no role > his Wife and their Five
Children Thomas< no role > about the age of Ten years Jonathan< no role > about the Age of Eight years Ann< no role > about the
Age of Six years Judah< no role > about the age of Four years and James< no role > about the Age of one year were
removed from and out of the Parish of Enfield in the County of Middlesex into the said Parish
of Harlington in the County of Bedford aforesaid as the Place of their last Legall Settlement

Your Petitioners Therefore humbly Conceiving themselves aggrieved
by the said Order or Pass Warrant de Appeal Against the Same and pray
that this Honourable Court will be Pleaded to Order the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Enfield and All the Parties
Concerned to Appear Some Day at this Present Sessions to hear and abide
the Judgement and Determination of this Court Touching the said
Appeals
