Indictment of Trinity Term in the Sixteenth & Seventeenth Years of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Second King of Great Britain and so forth And in the Year of our Lord 1743

George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith To Our Justices of Oyer &and
Terminer at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in Our County Of Middlesex And also to the Keepers of our Peace and to our Justices Assigned
to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanors Committed within our said County and to every of them Greeting
we being willing for certain reasons that all and singular Indictment concerning whatsoever Trespasses Contempts and Conspiracies
whereof Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. Wife of John Nicholls< no role > is together with Edward Bygrave< no role > before you Indicted And also all and singular
Special Verdicts formed thereupon (at it is said) before Us and not elsewhere be determined Do Command you and every of you that all and
singular the Indictments aforesaid And also all and singular Special Verdicts found thereupon with all things the Same by
whatsoever Name the said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. may be called therein before Us under your Seals or the Seal of One of you on the Morrow
of the Holy Trinity wheresoever We shall then be in England you or One of you do Send together with this Writ that we may further do
thereupon that which of right and according to the Law and Custom of England we shall see fit to be done Witness Sir William Lee< no role > Knight at
Westminster the Sixteenth day of May in the Sixteenth Year of our Reign By the Court Burrow To the Justices of Oyer & Terminer at

Middx Be it Remembred that at the Session of Oyer and Terminer of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at
Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid on Monday the eleventh day of January in the Fifteenth Year of the Reign of our
sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > John Elliott< no role > This name instance is in set 3963. Nathaniel Chandler< no role > Peter Elers< no role > Esquires
and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned by Letters Patent of our said Lord the King under his Great Seal of Great
Britain to the same Justices abovenamed and others and any four or more of them Directed the Inquire morefully the truth by the Oath of good
and Lawfull Men of the said County of Middx and ny other ways means and methods by which they should or might better know (as well
within Liberties as without ) by whom the truth of the matter may be better known of all Treasons Misprisions of Treasons Insurrections
Rebellions Counterfeitings Clippings Washings false comings and other Falsities of the Money of Great Britain and other kingdoms or
Dominions whatsoever and of all Murder Felonies Manslaughters Killings Burglaries Rapes of Women unlawfull Meetings Consenticles
unlawfull uttering of Words Assemblies Misprisions Confederacies false Allegations Riots Routs Retentious Escapes Contempts
Falsities Negligences Concealments Maintenance Oppressions Champarty Deceits and all other evil doings Offences and Injurys whatsoever
and also of the Accessaries of them within the County aforesaid as well within Liberties as without by whomsoever and in what Manner
