City of London Carpenter maketh Oath that there has been
lately stollen from and of the Estate of Sr. James
Lowther
< no role > Bart . scituate at Shadwell in this County sevll.
parcells of Oak or Elm Timber, Deal pales & other
Timber for Repair of the said Estate; part of which has
been found (upon Search) in Custody of the said James Sopwith;
And this Deponent Further maketh Oath, that there has
also lately been last sevll. other parcells of new Firr Timber
from the said Estate to the Value of Thirty shillings and
upwards; and that there is just Reason to suspect that
the said James Sopwith has either stollen, or been
Concerned in stealing and taking away the same.
