To the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamlett
of Bethnall Green in the County of Middx and to the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint Buttolph without
Bishopsgate London

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Churchwarden & Overseers
of the poor of th Hamlett of Bethnall Green in the said Count of Middlesex
unto us whose hands and Seals are hereunto sett; two of his Majesties Justices
of the peace (whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County of Middlesex aforesd:
That Thomas Cooper< no role > lately intended himself in your said Hamlett of
Bethnall Green , there to Inhabit as a Parishioner contrary to the Laws
relating to the Settlemt. of the Poor, and is there likely to become chargeable, if
not timely prevented: And Whereas upon And Examination and Inquiry
made into the premisses upon Oath, it appears unto us, and We accordingly
Adjudge, That the said Thomas Cooper< no role > is like to become chargeable unto-
the said Hamlet of Bethnall Green , and that the last legall, place of Settlement
of the said Thomas Cooper< no role > in the said parish of Saint Buttolph without-
Bishopsgate London

These are Therefore in his Majesties Name
to order and require you the said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the
Hamlett of Bethnall Green in the County of Middlesex aforesaid, that you or
some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Thomas Cooper< no role > from-
year said Hamlett of Bethnall Green to the said parish of Saint Buttolph
without Bishopsgate London and him deliver to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there, or some or one of them, together with this on
Warrant or Order, or a true Copy hereof whereby they are likewise required
in his Majesties Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such base made,
for him as their own Parishioner Given under our hands and Seals the 9th: day
of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and thirty seaven
