To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Quarter Sessions Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of
William Newman< no role > an Inhabitants of the
Parish of Saint Mary White Chapel in the said County

Sheweth

That on Easter Tuesday being the Twefth
day of April last At a Publick Vestry held in the
Church of the said Parish Your Petitioner was
Chosen Nominated and Appointed one of the
Scavengers of the said Parish for the Year ensuing and
Accordingly by a Warrant under the hands and Seals
of two of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the
said County bearing date the Eighteenth day of May
Instant was so Confirmed

That your Petitioner has paid his Time to one
of the late Churchwardens of the said Parish to
Exempt him from Serving all Offices in the said
Parish by which said Choice your Petitioner
Apprehends himself agreived and humbly appeals
to this honourable Court

Therefore your Petitioner prays that
he may be discharged from Serving the
said Office or be otherwise releived as
this Court shall see meet
