and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Alhallows on London Wall
in the City of London and to
each and every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Margaret Westminster unto Us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Whereof one is of the Quorum) for the City and Liberty aforesaid,
That Philip Willis< no role > and Mary< no role > his Wife have
lately intruded and come into your said Parish of Saint
Margaret Westminister
there to inhabit asParishioner s contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and are there like to become charge-
able,if not timely preventedAnd Whereas, upon due Examina-
tion and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon Oath and
other Circumstances
it appears unto Us, and We accordingly adjudge, That the said
Philip Willis and Mary his Wife are
like to become chargeable unto the said Parish of SaintMargaret
Westmr. And also do Adjudge and that the last legal Place
of Settlement of the said Philips Willis and Mary
his Wife is in the said Parish of
Saint Alhallows in London Wall
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Margaret Westminster aforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Philip
Willis
< no role > and Mary his Wife
from your said Parish of Saint Margaret
Westminister to the said Parish of Saint Alhallows
on London Wall and them deliver
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the said Philip Willis< no role > and Mary his Wife
into their said Parish & Care and provide for them
as their own Parishioners. Then under our Hands and Seals, the
Twenty Second Day of September in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Six
