At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign Lord the
King holden for the County of middx at Hicks hall in st.John street
in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Thursday the twenty second
day of July in the tenth yeare of the reign of our sovereign Lord
George the second King of Great Britain France & Ireland Defender
of the Faith before Thomas Lane< no role > Anthony Chamberlain< no role > Andrew
Osborne
< no role > william Booth< no role > Esqrs & other their Fellows Justices of our
said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid
and also to heare & determine divers felonys trespasses aforesaid
misdeeds committed in the same County

whereas the Church wardens & overseers of the poor of the parish of
St. Mary Aldermanbury London Exhibited their humble petition and
appeal unto this Court at this present General Quarter session of
the peace begun & holden for the County of Middx on Monday the
nineteenth day of July instant (which session was from theme
continued by several adjornments untill this present Thursday the
twenty second day of the same month of July and is now on the same
day holden by adjornment for the same County) setting forth That by
vertue of a warrant or order under the hands & seales of John
milner
< no role > & william Hucks< no role > Esqr of his maties Justices of the peace
for the County of middx (one being of the Quoram) bearing date [..]
twenty sixth day of June last Joseph Forward< no role > and mary< no role > his wife
were removed from the parish of St. Giles in the fields in the [..]
County of middx to the last legal settlement And that the petrs conceive
themselves aggrieved by the said warrant or Order, And humbly
appealed against the same the matter of which appeal was appoint
to be heard & determined by this Court on this present Thursday
the twenty second day of July instant Now Forasmuch as this
Court of opinion to adjourn the hearing of the said appeal It is
Ordered by this Court that the hearing & determining the matter [..]
the said appeal be and the same is hereby adjourned untill [..]
next General session of the peace to be holden for the said Cou [..]
of middx, And that the Church wardens & overseers of the poor of
the said parish of St. Giles in the fields (upon service of a Copy of
this Order) and all peace to be holden for the same County by
adjornment on monday the sixthday of september
next at nine of the Clock in the forenoon to heare & abide the
Judgment & determination of the same Court touching the said
appeal,
