The Deft being Indebted to one John Tosh< no role > in &
& Twenty Sd Pounds & being pressed by himpressed by him
for ye. same told him he had a Note of agent for £207
wch he would Indorse & that if he would go & receive
the same he might pay himself & then gave him the
Note on Mr. Isaac Norton< no role > wch he Indored, Mr.Torn
[..] went to Mr.Vorton wth ye Note who upon. Sight of [..]
of Secured him Averring ye Note was forged, when
Mr Tosh was at Liberty he procured a Warrt agst. Deft.
who them & now does insist ye Note is ye of Mr. Nortons
own Hand writing & that he gave it him at the
Globe Tavern in ye Strand ye Day it was Dated, but
Wee can prove Mr. Norton was not at that House
that Day
