At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden
for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by
adjournment on Saturday the eighth day of may in the month yeare of the reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Frances & Ireland
Defender of the Faith before Thomas Lane< no role > Anthony Chamberlain< no role > Alexander
Garrett< no role > Andrew Osborne< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the
King assigned to Keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to heare and
determine divers felonys trespasses & other misdeeds committed in the same County,

Whereas the Churchwaredns & Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. Ann
Westminster in this County exhibited their humble petition & appeale unto
this Court at this present General Quarter Session of the Peace holden
for the Said County by adjournment on Tuesday the fourth day of may instant
Settingforth That by virtue of a Pass Warrant under the hands & Seals of
Richard Peirson< no role > & John Rathbone< no role > Esqrs. two of his Maties Justices of the peace
for this County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the thirty first
day of March last Robert Usher< no role > & Elizabeth Usher< no role > his wife were removed
from the parish of St. Mary LeBone in the Said County to the Said parish of
St. Ann Westminster whereby the petrs. Conceive themselves to be aggrieved
And that they therefore appealed to this Court against the Adjudgment of the
Said two Justices the matter of which appeale was appointed to be heard and
determined by this Court on this present Saturday the eighth day of may instant

Now upon hearing of what was alledged by Councel for the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the poor of the Said parish of St. Mary le Bone and also by
Councel for the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the Said parish
of St. Ann westminster This Court being of opinion to adjourn the hearing
& determining of the Said appeale Doth Order that the benefit of the Said
appeale be Saved unto th Said Appellants, And that the hearing and
determining therefore be and the same is herby adjourned untill the next
General Session of the Peace to be holden for this County,And that the
Churchwarens & Overseers of the poor of both the Said parishes and all
persons concerned do attend the Court of the Said next General Session of
the Peace to be holden for the Said County by adjournment on wednesday the
ninth day of Jane next at nine of the Clock in the forenoon to heare &
abide the Judgment & determination of the Same Court touching the
Said appeale
