An Ingrossed Bill to enable Bartholomew Richard Barneby< no role > Esq ; otherwise
Lutley< no role > , and the Issue of his Body, to take upon him and them the Sir name of
Barneby, pursuant to the Will of John Barneby< no role > Esq ; deceased, was read the
third Time.

Resolved,
That the Bill do pass.

Ordered,
That Mr. Sandys do carry the Bill to the Lords, and desire their Con-
currence.

Sir Francis Child< no role > reported, from the Committee, to whom the Petition of seve-
ral Persons, whose Names are thereunto subcribed, who frequently travel
through the Lane leading from Highgate to Hampftead (commonly called
cane Wood-Lane) in the County of Middlesex , was referred; that the Com-
mittee had examined the Matter of the paid Petition, and had directed him to
report the same, as it appeared to them, to the House; and he read the Re-
port in his Place, and afterwards delivered it in at the Table.

Lord have agreed to the Bill. Intituled, An Act to punish Mutiny and Desertion,
and for the better Payment of the Army and their Quarters, without any Amend-
ment; And also,

That the Lords have agreed to the Amendment made by this House to one of
the Amendments made by their Lordships to the Bill, Intituled, An Act to re-
peal the statute made in the first Year of the Reign of King James the First, Inti-
tuled, An Act against Conjuration, Witchcraft, and dealing with evil and wicked
Spirits, except so much thereof as repeals on Act of the fifth Year of the Reign of
Queen Elizabeth against Conjurations, Inchantment and Witchcrafts.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

The House proceeded to take into Consideration the Report from the Com-
mittee, to whom the Petition of several Persons whose Names are thereunto
subscribed, who frequently travel through the Lane leading from Highgate to
Hamp stead (commonly called Cane-Wood-Lane ) in the County of Middlesex ,
was referred.

And the paid Report was read.
Ordered,

That it be an Instruction to the Committee, to whom the Bill for
making more effectual two Acts of Parliament, one in the tenth year of
the Reign of her late Majesty Queen Anne, and the other of the first
Year of the Reign of his late Majesty King George the First, for repairing the
Road from Highgate Gate-house in the Country of Middlesex to Barnet Block-
house in the County of Hertford, and also the Road leading from the Bear-Inn
in Hadley to the Angel in Enfield-Chace in the said County of Middlesex , is
committed ; that they do make Provision in the paid Bill for repairing the Lane
leading from Highgate to Hampstead , commonly called Cane Wood-Lane .

Mr. Comptroller reported to the House, that their Address of Thursday the
fourth Day of this instant March ; (that his Majesty would be graciously pleaded
to give Directions, that a Copy of a Treaty of Navigation and Commerce, con-
cluded at Petersburg the second Day of December 1734 , between his Majesty
and her Czarish Majesty ; might be said before this House) had been presented
to his Majesty ; and that his Majesty had commanded him to acquaint this
House, that he will give Direction accordingly.

A Petition of the Traders employed in the Woollen Manufacture in Newbury ,
in the County of Berk, was presented to the House, and read ; complaining of
the heavy Duty upon Olive Oil; and therefore praying the House to take the
Premisses into Consideration, and to grant such Relief, as to the House shall seem
meet.
