Who hath Confessed to an Indictment against him for unlaw fully
Procureing himself to be Admitted and Out Penssioner in the Royall
Hospitall of Chelsea under pretence of his Serving as a Soldier in the first
Regiment of Foot Guards and that he was not otherwise provided for by
the Government Whereas the said William Clayton< no role > at such time was
otherwise provided forby the Governmentand end received Penssion of
five pence by the day of the said College or Hospitall as an out Pensioner of
the said College from the Regiment of Foot Commanded by Joseph Sabine< no role >
Esqr . And under the false pretence aforesaid fraudulentty did receive from
the Paymaster of the said Hospital diverse Sumes of Money amounting
in the whole to the Sume of Thirty Pounds Seventeen Shillings and Eleven
pence is fined for the said Offence £0..0s.0d. which is ordered to be Estreated
And he is Committed to the house of Correction at Clerkenwell in this
County thereto be kept to hard labour for the Space of Six Month And
within the Space of that time he is to be Set in and upon the Pillory at
or Very near the London Guard Gate in Chelsea on Two Severall Days
Such as the Sherriffe of this County Shall within that time Appoint
for the Space of One hour on Each day between the hours of Eleven of the
Clock in the forenoon and One of the Clock in the afternoon on Each of
the said Days with an Inscription in Paper to be put upon the Breast
of the said William Clayton< no role > on each of the said Days Denoleing his
Offence To remain in the House of Correction aforesd. untill See undergoe
the said Punishments then to be Delivered paying his Fees 0-4-8

him for a Conspirans (with others) falsely to Charge one John
Dogan< no role > with the Crime of Lodoncy with Intent to Extort Diverce Sums
of Money from the said John Dogan under pretence of Concealing
the said Pretended Crime Whereas the said John Dogan< no role > never was
Guilty of any such Crime is fined for the said Offence 0..1s..0d which is
ordered to be Estreated and he is Committed to the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell in this County there to be kept to hard Labour for the
Space of One Year And he is to be Set in & upon the Pillory on Two
