To the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Leonard Shoreditch - in the said County of Middlesex ;
and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. John At Hackney In the
said County and to every of them, and to all others,
whom these may convern.

WHEREAS it appeareth unto us, two of his Majesty's Justices of
the peace for the said County of Middlesex (whereof one is of the
Quorum) by the Complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Lionard Shoredith in the said County,
that Eleanor Raper< no role > is

lately come, and intruded into the said Parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch
endeavouring to gain a Settlement there contrary [..]
and is likely to become a great Charge to me said Parish [..]
which we adjudge to be true; and whereas, Upon Examinacon on

it appears unto us, That the said Eleanor Raper< no role > was
laft legally settled in the said Parish of St. John at Hackney in the
County of Middx and that she has not since
gained any legal Settlement elsewhere: Therefore, We the said Justices, upon
the Proof aforesaid, and other Circumstance, do adjudge and deem the Place
of the last legal Settlement of the said Eleanor Roper< no role >
to be in the said Parish
of St. John At Hackney and whither by Law she
ought to be sent.

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, strictly to Charge and
Command you the said Churchwarden s and Overseers of the Poor of
the said parish of St Leonard Shoreditch or either of you,
forthwith to remove and convey the said Eleanor Raper< no role >

from and out of your said Parish of St Lequard Shoreditch in and
to the said Parish of St John at Harkney
and deliver her (together with this Precept) to the Churchwarden and
Overseers of the Poor there, or some, or one of them, who are hereby required
to receive and provide for her according to Law.

Given under our Hands and Seals, the 16th Day of August
in the 9th Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the 2 [..]
by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King
Defender of the Faith, in the Year 17 35.
