At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign=
Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St.
John street in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Friday
the seventeenth day of January in the eighth yeare of the reign
of our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain
France & Ireland Defender of the Faith before Edward Barker< no role >
John Martin< no role > John Elliot< no role > This name instance is in set 3963. William Booth< no role > Esqrs . & other their
Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the
peace in the County aforesaid and also to heare & determine
divers felonys trespasses & other misdeeds committed in the said
County,

Whereas Robert Dean< no role > of the parish of St. George in this
County Cooper exhibited his humble petition and appeale unto
this Court at this present General Quarter Session of the peace
(which Session began & was holden for this County on Mondaythe
thirteenth day of January insta
in the Week next after the
Feast day of the Epiphany (to witt) the thirteenth day of January
instant and was from thence continued by several adjornment
untill this present Friday the seventeenth day of the same Monday
of January instant and is on the same day holden by adjornmt.
for the said County) settingforth That by an Order under the
hands & seales of Richard Ricards< no role > & Richard Farmer< no role > Esqrs. two
of his Maties Justices of the peace for the said County (one being
of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty sixth day of October one
thousand seven hundred and thirty four the Petr. was adjudged
the reputed Father of a Male Bastard child born of the body of
Mary Folling in the parish of St. Mary White chappell in the said
County, And that the Petr. thinking himselfe aggreived by
the said Order humbly appealed against the same, whereupon
It was by an Order made by this Court on the said thirteenth
day of January instant Ordered by this Court that the Churchwardns.
and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St. Mary White chappell
and all persons concerned should attend this Court on this present
Friday the seventeenth day of January instant to heare & abide
the Judgment & determination of this Court touching the said
appeale, Now upon hearing of what was alledged by Mr. Benne
of Councel for the said Robert Dean< no role > the Petr. and also by Mr. Jonathan Chalkley< no role > Churchwarden
