The Humble Peticon of Elizabeth Dawson< no role > widow the
Presecutrix of this Indictmt.

Sheweth


That your Petr. in September Sessions last past found
a Bill in this Honoble Court agt. the said Deft. Mathew West< no role >
for theating and defrauding her of the Sume of eleven pounds
and eight Shillings by false Specious and deceit full Pretences.

That the said Defends. then and still being a Prisoner
in the Fleet Prison London for Debt your Petr. could not (at the
the used her utmost Endeavours for that purpose) procure the
Said Defent.to give Baile for his Appearance att this
present Sessions of Oyer and Terminer to answer unto this
Said Indictmt. till very lately the Condicon of which Said
Recognizance the said Defends. hath not hither to in any
wife performed he haveing as yett not appeared in this
Honoble Court to answer to the said Indictment pursuant to
the ten our thereof to the very great delay of Justice and
hinderance of your Petr. lawfull Presecution of this her
Said Indictmt.

Your Petr. therefore humbly
prayes your Honours that the
Defendants said Recognizance may
be Estreated into his Matyes Court
of Exchequer and that your Petr.
may have Such further and other
reasonable Releif in the Prmisses
as to your Honours in your great
Wisdom shall seem meet

And your Petr. as in Duty bound
shall ever pray
