The Walker of the parish of St Dunstans
in the West in the County of Middlesex Gentleman
maketh Oath that he this Deponent did Yesterday
goe to the House of Mr Abraham Jordan< no role > in Budge
Row London Organ maker with Intent to have Served
him with a Subpena to Attend the Tryal of this Cause
on the Defts. behalf (which sd Jordan is a material
Wetness for the said Deft. and without whoe's Testimony
the sd Deft cannot safely proceed to the Tryal of this
Cause as this Deponent is Advised and verily
beleives) And this Depont. was then and there
Informed by the sd Mr Jordans Wife that her said
Husband was then and for some Considerable time
before had been at Yarmouth in the County of
Norfolk And that she Expected and beleived that
her sd Husband would return from thence in or
about Christmas next and not before And this
Depont further saith that he did Yesterday Serve
Oliver Slocock< no role > the Prosecutor of this Cause with
a true Copy of the Notice hereunto Annexed by
Delivering the same to his the said Oliver Slococks< no role >
Son at his house in Bun Street in or near St.
Katherines in the County of Middlesex and who
promised to Deliver the Same forthwith to his Said
Father.
