At the Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace of our sovereign Lord the King held at
Hicks Hall in St. John Street in & for the County of
Midd by adjornmt. on Friday the twelfth day of October
in the Seventh Year of the reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Grace
Britain France & Ireland King Defender of ye Fa [..]
before William Cowper< no role > John Martin< no role > John Elliot< no role > This name instance is in set 3963.
William Booth< no role > Esqrs.
& others their Fellows Justices of Our said Lord the
king assigned to keep the peace in the County
aforesaid & also to hear & determine divers felonies
trespasses & other Misdemeanors comitted in the
said County

Upon hearing the Appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the parish of St. George comonly called St
George in the East in this County against an Order under
the Hands & Seales of Nathaniel Chandler< no role > & Ralph Harwood< no role > Esqr.
two of His Maties Justices of the peace for the said County
one whereof being of (the Quorum) bearing date the seventh day of September last whereby Martha
Jackson
< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the Parish of
St. Leonard shoreditch in the said County to the said
Parish of St. George as the place of her last legall
Settlement And upon hearing of what was alledged
by Mr Sarjt: Corbett of Connell for the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Leonard
Shoreditch as also by Mr Theed of Councell for the said
Appellants This Court doth allow of the said Appeale &
Doth vacate & discharge the aforesaid Order of the said
two Justices of the peace and the same is hereby vacated
& discharg'd accordingly and this Court doth further Order
That the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St George do forthwith remove & convey the said
Martha Jackson< no role > from their said parish to the said
parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch & deliver her to the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor there or to some or
one of them together with a Copy of this Order who are
hereby required to receive the said Martha Jackson< no role > into
their Care & to provide for her as for other poor at the
Charge of the Inhitants of the said parish of St. Leonard
shoreditch untill they can free themselves from the Charge
thereof by due Cerise of Law
