Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofSaint Martin
in the Fieldsunto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(One where of being of the Quorum) for the Chyantr Liberty aforesaidThatMary
Allen< no role > aged about thirty five years wife of John Allen< no role >
gone from her and their three Children that is to say
Elizabeth < no role > aged about thirteen years Henrietta < no role > Eight
years and Ann < no role > upwards of Two years are
lately intrudedand comeinto your said Parish of
Saint Martin in the Fields
there to inhabit asParishionerscontrary to the Laws relat-
ing to the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,as also on Oath
and other Circumstances
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Mary Allen< no role > and the said three Children are
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSaint Martin
in the Fieldsand that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidMary Allen< no role > and the said three Children
is in the said Parish of
Saint Ann Westminster in the said County of Middlesex

These are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Martin in the Fieldsaforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidMary Allen< no role >
and the said three Children
from your said Parish ofSaint Martin in
the Fields to the said Parish ofSaint Ann Westminster
in the County of Middlesex aforesaidandthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor, there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidMary Allen< no role > and the said three Children

into theirsaidParishand provide forthem
as their own Parishioners Given under our Hands and Seals, the
FourteenthDay ofJuly in the year of our Lord
One thousand seven hundred and thirty three .
