as their Quota or proportion of the Said one hundred
fifty five pounds two shillings & two pence
assessed upon the said Tower Division
as
aforesaid Now upon informacon given unto this Court thatAnd whereasthe Inhabitants of the
said four places refuse to pay the said several sums of
money assessed upon the same,proalledging
that the said places are within the Liberty of the
Tower
of London (which Liberty is alsoe called the
Royalty of the Tower
, and the Mannor of the
Tower
) and that as being [..] Inhabitants within the
said Liberty of the Tower
they are exempt from
payment of such Assessment
and forTower, and for which Liberty there is a distinct
& particular Commission of the peace) And that
as Inhabitants within the said Libertyof the Said
Libertyof the Tower
they are exempted and not
by Law subject to the payment of suchpayment,
Assessment, This Court upon debate of the matter is
of opinion that theDispute &matter in question [..] is proper to
be tryed & determinedbyin a feigned action in one of
his maties Courts at Westminster
, And that it should
be proposed to the Inhabitants of the said [..] Liberty of
the Town that the said matter may be by consent
