To the Worshipfull his Majesties
Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General Quarter Sessions at
Hicks's Hall Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields
in the County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Vertue of a Pass Warrant under the hands
and Seals of Jn. Ellis< no role > and M: Harper Esquires Two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said County of
Middlesex (Quorum unus therein mentioned) bearing date
the Sixteenth Day of March last Mary < no role > the Wife of
William Harley< no role > and Mary < no role > their Child aged about Eleven
Months were removed from the Parish of Saint James
within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the
Fields as the Place of their last Legall Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
Aggrieved.

Therefore they humbly Appeal to your
Worships against the Judgment of the
said two Justices and pray that the
Benefit of this Appeal may be saved unto
them untill the next General Sessions of
the Peace to be held for this County.

And your Petitioners shall ever pray.
