assembled

The humble Peticon of Thomas Raby< no role > of the pish
of St. Giles in the Feilds

Sheweth


That your Petr. became bound by Indenture of
Apprenticehood bearing date the 23d Day of January
1729 to John Ward< no role > of the pish of St Giles in the
Feilds in the County aforesd Peruke maker &
Barber for the fersh of Severn Years of Warn
his Art.

That your Petrs. said Master died about Christmass
last past That your Petr hath since serv'd
[..] Hannah Ward< no role > Sister & Adminstratrix to your
Petrs. sd late Master.

That yor Petrs. Mistress hath imploy'd one
William Warman< no role > as her Journyman to
instruct yourPetrin the sd trade

That the sd William Warman< no role > hath struck &
beat your Petr. wth Instruments [..]
not proper to correct yor Petr. & hath
bar barously beat & abused yor Petr. & swears
that he will never teath your Petr. his trade

And although yor Petrs. sd Mistress knows &
hath been acquainted by your Petr of this
ill Ussage hath not thought proper to
prevent it.

yor Petr. therefore most humbly prays
that your Worps wou'd be pleased to appoint
some Day this present Sessions for the sd
[..] Hanna Ward< no role > yor Petrs Mistress to attend this
Honble Court to shew cause why yor Petr shod.
not be discharged from his Sd Indenture of
Apprenticehood

And yor. Petr. as in Duty bound shall pray Etc
