To the Worshipfull the Bench of Justices Assembled
at the Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace held
at Hickes Hall for the County of Middx

The Humble Peticon of Susan Wright< no role > Widow

Sheweth


That your Peticoner was bound for the Appearance of one Charity
Freeman
< no role > in December Sessions last at Hickes Hall but Freeman not
appearing your Peticoners Recognizance is Forfieled

That your Peticoner was altogether Ignorant of the Necessity of
Dischargeing the Recognizance untill received the Notice hereunto annexed

That your Peticoner is informed the Fees for dischargeing the
Recognizance are Augmented from 2s:8d to 14s:8d care not being taken in time
and all through the Ignorance of Your Peticoner

That Your Peticoner is a very Poor woman and hath two Children to
provide for So that she is altogether unable to pay the Fees for discharging
the Recognizance, and if Estreated she and her Family is utterly ruined

Your Peticoner therefore humbly prays
your Worships to take her unhappy Case into your
Consideracons and remitt her Fees or lessen them
whereby her Recognizance may be discharged or
otherwise to releive your Peticoner herein as to
your Worships shall seem meet

And Your Peticoner (as in Duty
bound) shall ever Pray Etc

I am Creditably Informed that the Contents of this Peticon
Is true & therefore recommend it as an Act of Charity & humanity
