WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Mid-
dlesex, (Quorum Unus) by the Church Wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Andrew, Holborn , above the Bars in
the said County; ThatCatherine Dukewitts< no role > wife of Clause
Dukewitts< no role > and their Son William< no role > aged about four
Years have
lately come in to the said Parish, endavouring to settle there contrary
to Law: And it appeareth unto Us the said Justices, and we do
Adjudge, Thatthey arelikely to become chargeable to the
said Parish, and upon Examination ofthe said Clause Dukewitts
Nice Jeffreystaken upon Oath;
it further appeareth unto Us, and we do likewise Adjudge, That
the parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of
Middx aforesaid
is the Place of the last
legal settlement of the saidCatherine Dukewitts and her
said Son William Whither< no role > by Law they
Ought to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and Command
the Church- Warden and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
St. Andrew, Holborn , above the Bars, forthwith to remove and con-
vey the saidCatherine Dukewitts< no role > and her said Son
William< no role >
from the said Parish of St. Andrew, Holborn , above the Bars, to the
said Parish ofSt. Clement Danes in the said County of
Middx and deliverthem
to the Church- Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them. who are hereby required to provide forthem
according to Law: Given under our Hands and Seals theEighteenth
Day ofAugustAnno Dom 1732

To the Church- wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the respective Parishes of St. andrew, Holborn, above the
Bars , in the County of Middlesex , andSt. Clement Danes
in the said county of Middx and to all other
Officers whom it may Concern
