Widdow Saith That on Wednesday the 22d. day of Nover
instant abt. Eight in the Evening of the sd. day this Depts
being at or near the Door of Mr David Chovet< no role > [..]
at the Sign of the Golden Door near the End of
Warwick Street near the Hay Markett one Wm.
Lister< no role > a soldier a soldier haveing a Penknife in his hand
Declared that he in his Maties Name did Seize
certain Wines in Basketts standing or being before
or near the Door of the said Mrs. Chovet under
prsence of such Wines not haveing paid Custome
or to that Effect Upon which this Dept. after the
sd. Wm. Lister< no role > where his Power was or to that Purpose
upon which the sd. Wm. Lister< no role > gave this Dept. Several
Blow's wth. his Hist and thereupon the said Wm. Lister< no role >
being pushed off by this Dept. in Order to prevent his
further Assaulting him did take out of his Pockett
a Penknife and there wth. stick or wound this
Dept. this Depts Left arm in a barbarous manner And this Dept. saith
that the said Wm. Lister< no role > 's Acting in manner aforesd.
was wth. out any Provacation given him by this
Dept. other than as aforesd.
